It's like the pokemon leagues are part of some global sports organization like FIFA, and everywhere you go you're reminded of their presence. I miss the wild west feel that early gens had, and I don't like how the regions are getting "safer."

There's no sense of true danger from characters like this. And the world feels too regulated and controlled for something like Team Rocket taking over Goldenrod City to ever happen again. Simply put, it doesn't feel like an adventure anymore.
