There are many egg-groups, and one of theme is the Human-Like Egg Group. Now, pokemon could make eggs with a partner of the same egg group, so... why not?
Marry a pokemon of another egg-group could be wrong, but like in D&D human could lay with orc, elf, etc... but not with an owlbear.
Funfact Gardevoir is not in the human-like group, but Lucario and Lopunny yes
