Alright, I'm back from burning out and am ready to finish up Gen 3. Since I've used all 3 KANTOOOO starters so far, I replaced them with Shroomish, Houndour, and Remoraid. My rival kicked my ass in the first battle, but it didn't count because no pokeballs. I was lucky enough to get Garand in a single ball, and used him to weaken Dragunov for the catch. Some grinding later, and some boosting on Geodude, and Dragunov swept through Brock singlehandedly. Good thing too, since my whole team was weak to Rock Tomb.
