There’s objectives listed, marked raid locations, you can accidentally run into enemies that will fuck you, different Pokémon during different weather and in different biomes, can access the pc from wild area (implies that you can’t do this from regular routes), gain currency for items (infinite purchase TMs and curry ingredients for example), can hunt for rare encounters with the ! popup, and despite the tree meme it looks pretty comfy
