I like the return of trainer encounter themes. Cities are bigger which is something that is finally on par with other games in it's own generation (unlike Gens 6 and 7). Customisation looks cool. A few mons are good

Love the look of the game. The trainer customization is what I've always wanted it to be.
A lot of the new mons are great.
Music has been pretty good, not up to the normal level of quality but still pretty good. (Toby Fox's track is a real standout)

You missed my point here Gamefreak doesn't need 100-200 mons from one region to overlook the recent ones they will still pointless make redesigns and special mons that come from Kanto or include a large number of Kanto Pokemons in the region. Game freak over looks their other gens other Gen 1.
