>>43956803I actually think that Hoenn, even without megas, is the most dominant starter force, because regular Blaziken has Speed Boost, Sceptile has Unburden, and Swampert is a fucking beast. Ash-Greninja is huge, but Delphox and Chesnaught hold back the team, especially since so many starters have Flying coverage that Chesnaught dies to everything except for Gen 2 and Gen 8.
No idea where I'd put the Gen 8 starters, though. Funky Monkey is ridiculous now with his priority, and Cinderace is an annoying cunt, but I still think that even with all their upsides, they can't break Blaziken because Intelleon is so weak.
