Played this shit through to the end of the first region. Story is hilariously bad, Gold uses a living Arceus plate to try to take over the world and kills Red.
It's fun as fuck though. Tons of variety in mons, a couple Delta Species, Megas, gym leaders that aren't monotype, decent challenge without being soul crushing. Some unique ideas like having items that do moves and a time travel HM. Overall, even though the dialogue was ass, it was exactly what I wanted in a pokémon fan game.
