>>32313956I'm in a similar spot to you. Lived and breathed Pokemon when I was younger. Started with Yellow which eventually lead me to spending my time drawing literally hundreds, probably even thousands pieces of fanart, logged way too many hours on the games themselves, posting on fansite forums, reading bad fan theories, the whole nine yards. Bought every game including the shitty spin-offs until XY came out, the interest just sort of fizzled, and never really came back to what it was.
I still obviously care about it since I'm posting on /vp/ of all things, but it's a different sort of care from Pokemon on the brain 24/7. I doubt I'll ever match passion and intensity I had for it for anything else in my life. Not that I mind, it's nice taking it slow.
