I've been playing since red (actually played red until emerald came out because family was poor and even then I played it only once because it was my brother's game. I got myself FR instead). Pearl was the first game I bought with my own money and that's where I made friends who also played the game.
>>32661546I liked Alola but there's too much cities and not enough nature for me. The other big let down for me is the heavy emphasis on the story. I liked that gen 1, 2 and 3 had no big story outside of kill the bad guys and you could make your own. I do understand the appeal of the region even if I don't like it that much myself.
