Objectively crappy yet still ultimately enjoyable games. They could be worse, tho of course they could've been much much better. I like some of the new designs and hate some others. The excellent team selection is amazing but the non existent challenge makes it feel like a moot point. The map design this gen is underrated desu, some of the routes are excellent, and if nothing else it feels like the games were trying to feel fresh and new. Writing quality brings is down several pegs but the BIGGEST nail in the coffin is the severe lack of polish, it feels nearly unfinished at times. The occasional Kanto pandering and mega evolution bullshit bring the games down way more than it should for me.

Honestly I get hating the game what I don't get is hating the OST
Overall, very mixed feelings but I'm still not a huge fan of the games and would put them near the bottom sadly
