>>47569647>Buddhism saw life as bitter, dominated by pain and suffering due to attaching possessions and material desires>Taoism sees life as fundamentally perfect in its natural state. What really gets me is that I ALMOST figured this out ~3 years ago when I was trying to prove a theory about Gen 4. I thought that discovering that in Platinum, a random Hiker in Canalave mentions CRUCIAL information if you acquired Arceus was all I really needed:
>The way I see it, our world began when the spirit within people was born.>When that spirit came to be, there followed awareness about the world.>Within the newborn spirit, time and space were intertwined as one.>People and Pokémon, too, were but the same presence.>As I understand it, people and Pokémon shared the spirit and awareness.>They should have understood and accepted each other then.>Because they shared the same spirit, people and Pokémon intermingled.>People took the place of Pokémon, and the opposite also held true.>That interpretation could give us an idea about how our world came to be.>A Pokémon is said to have shaped this world.>Could that Pokémon be the physical form of the original spirit?I've done theorizing about 1. Inspiration for Spear Pillar 2. Designs of the Creation Quartet are related 3. Hairstyles of Team Galactic meant something 4. Cynthia resembles Lucario 5. Unused trademarks for game names 6. Canalave library texts 7. The "giants" that are the source of the plates 8. Lake Trio are parts of a brain 9. Giratina is not Satan 10. Darwinian evolution doesn't exist in Pokemon and only westerners with the Atheistianity religion care about it 11. Sinnoh is more Greek mythology than Japanese mythology (like Orichalcum) 12. Probably 10 more theories but I can't remember them
But 3 years ago I didn't know as much about eastern religions. Now that I do, it feels like I can grasp the intentions of the designers better.
