>>55008651>>55008643ngl I like flygon but I agree some of its fans can be annoying. especially since the main point of of contention seem to be that a mid game mon is outclassed by a psuedo legendary, keep in mind that midgame mon had an entire generation to shine, and even in later gens, Flygon still gets enough tools to have solid niches in lower tiers and Game Freak even had the decency to so some restraint with their Garchomp worship considering how its mega was more of a sidegrade than a buff or how it still has been denied dragon dance.
And you don't even need to look far to see Pokemon treats far worse than Flygon. Hoeen is was ground zero for SFMA syndrome or just plain embarrassingly low stats, full of pokemon that were snubbed for megas.
The entire Gen 2 dex is "little-brothered" by Gen 1, the the point were Game Freak threw most of them under the bus just to make Gen 1 pokemon shine even more. even the fucking starters are treated like bargain bin versions of KANTOOOO's.
Fuck, even Game Freaks precious golden child Gen 1 has several Pokemon who would kill for a sliver of love from Game Freak. that Flygon gets.
However it kind of silly that Flygon is the one Hoenn Dragon didn't get a mega
