>>54125601I honestly believe there is some truth to the whole "otherkin" and past lives thing to SOME extent, like how sometimes people get weirdly nostalgic for things or times they never experienced, like how some people do ren fair stuff or do 1950's cosplay despite not being nearly old enough for that, some of it is from cultural osmosis of course but I think there's also something deeper and spiritual about yearning for times long past.
or it could just be autism and coping mechanics, but honestly so long as you understand it's just a fantasy there's no real harm.
