Jake comes from a wealthy Contest family, but really tries not to spend too much of his trust fund. He’s rather goofy, clumsy, and an idiot at times. But he’s still kind, determined, and very bright on the subject of Pokémon. He wants to be Pokémon Professor one day.
Tess is the daughter of a dojo owner, as well as the youngest of 6 sisters. She’s hotheaded, stubborn, brash, and can be somewhat of a bitch at times, but she’s still loving and affectionate towards her Pompadork and kids, as well as most Pokémon.

Tess has a secret love for sappy romance movies and novels, Jake’s the only one who knows about this.
Jake’s hair is natural, all men in his family have terrible or crazy hairstyles.
Jake is the universe’s badluck dumping hole, if anything can go wrong for him, it usually will.
Due to being bitten, punched, stabbed, or stung so many times, Jake is immune to most types of venom or poison type attacks... They still hurt though.
