>>46318286>Things like moves, forms, battle mechanics, and battle facilities aren't major bits of the reason people buy the gamesThey're the major reason -I- buy the games, and it was series tradition that was almost entirely unbroken(RIP triple battles) for two fucking decades.
A mainline Pokemon that didn't at least have them all in the game data was unheard of before the Switch games. Including them all was LITERALLY THE BARE MINIMUM, and so were the battle mechanics.
>then we'll have triple battle dynamax mega charizard x fighting a stunfisk using electrium z to use gigavolt havocAnd that's been the beauty of Pokemon, mechanically. Watching it all develop and get more complex as the franchise went on, while retaining an outer shell of simplicity for the normalfags and children. It's like you SWSHfags didn't even like these fucking games, I swear.
>either the switch has a stroke or it's never used or cared about...like triple battlesThe Switch would not have had a stroke, stop making excuses for GF. If it can handle Dynamax which is essentially giant megas + z move spam, it can handle megas and z-moves, too.
Triple battles were horribly underutilized because GF never made any significant gameplay modes for them and they made arranging them between players a fucking mess. Let's be real here, gen VI's PSS was the best online this series ever saw and that's a very bad thing. The biggest problem with people playing ANY battle mode is that you have to bend over backwards to play it if it's not the standard battle facility or VGC formats.
