These starters were made before Emerald was released. For its time it is pretty good, even if they looks like Digimon. The game itself is pure garbage because it was never finished and the version released in physical copies is a really early alpha with a lot of bugs. Starters are Grass/Electric, Fire/Rock and Water/Steel btw.
