There's been too much attempt to give every subject its own little neatly partitioned bubble, the site has lost its identity. Just look at /b/ now, it's fuckin sad man. Or /x/, I bet they haven't had an actual creepypasta thread in who knows how long. Or the fact that memes have boiled down to nothing but soijaks and frogs for how many years now? We need to become a roiling mass of chaos that stimulates creativity and fresh ideas with small islands of order, and not everyone gets one.
