So, what is the best way to farm lvl100 in USUM for hyper training?
EV training, natures and getting 4IVs bred was actually completely trivial in this game.
I assume that bottlecapping the last IV is faster than breeding it?

I haven't really played pocket mans since Gen 3 but I played a few matches on pokemon showdown and it was a lot of fun so I grabbed a copy of US.
I've done some googling to look this up but can any experienced player confirm/correct this?

1: get abras with synchronize to lock down natures
2: grind SoS fights to get perfect IV dittos
3: pass down egg moves if needed to the mon type you want
4: breed these dittos with mon you want with everstone on the correct nature mon and destiny knot on the other
5: if the mon you breed gets perfect ivs, replace the mon breeding with the ditto with it
6: pump EVs up with vitamins or do EV grinding
7: do this 6 times

I used to inject/AR but tried my hand on breeding in Gen6. I fucked up a lot, but after i got my first perfect IV Protean Froakie it felt fucking awesome. Now I have a whole bunch of boxed hatchlings wating for the transfer to Alola from Hoenn.

It's just so satisfying to finally see your perfect little monster.

I have hatched Synchronize Abras of every Nature and have chained 3 4iv Dittos. Now all I need is a Destiny Knot and the fun can begin again.

This is such a noob thing, so I'm very sorry, but I really need help. Even if you just throw me a link, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still trying to work out exactly how the destiny knot works.
I'm using the time-machine method, with 2 test magikarps. The magikarps are definitely fresh caught - no evs.
I give one the destiny knot, and the baby ends up with 3 or 4 completely random stats - stats that don't match the numbers on either parent in any category!

Eg:
Female
HitPoints: 80
Attack: 21
Defense: 82
Sp. Att: 35
Sp. Def: 26
Speed: 91

Male
HitPoints: 82
Attack: 20
Defense: 63
Sp. Att: 21
Sp. Def: 42
Speed: 90

Baby
HitPoints: 80
Attack: 23
Defense: 82
Sp. Att: 41
Sp. Def: 26
Speed: 89

It just doesn't make any sense. The destiny knot is just not doing what it's supposed to.
