Were basically getting a regional only pokedex now and without an national expansion its gonna become clear how bare bone the pokedex is gonna become. Which adds to another point once post game comes around. Either they'll segregate a chunk of that limited amount for content after the end of the game to catch later (which is when the national dex usually comes into play for past games) or were barely gonna have any shit to do after you beat the league.
