I never gave the imagination theory much thought, but I assumed from the start that the whole point was that they come from some alternate timeline because no such creatures ever existed (S) or could naturally exist (V).
Wasn't that the point of the Occulture magazines? To show that these monsters are such freaks of Pokemon science that the only explanations for their existence are crackpot theories like "They're [Present Pokemon] but dinosaurs" or "They're alien robots"?

God it's so nice they're moving away from trying to mimic the anime with the 3D models.
Reminds me of when PLA was announced and Oshawott's mouth had some actual depth instead of just being a flat texture on the face.

This bizarre shill campaign for gen 3 is so transparently forced. Nobody was saying any of this until like a year ago. ADV was just the funny Tyranitar meta.

I personally disliked this fight because it went against their rule that every combatant has to be aware they're in a fight to the death and be totally committed to it regardless of their canon personality.
Yet Red was blissfully unaware and acted like it was just another Pokemon fight. You can tell they preferred Digimon because they really went out of their way to make Pokemon look as lame as possible.
