>>44080155Well it depends on how you want your art to look. The person that taught me digital art has a style with a clean and polished look. Shading is fairly flat but he made up for it by experimenting with different lighting tools. His style is very digital art friendly and I believe he still uses a mouse to this day. However if you want to develop a more hand drawn style with varying line weights, a tablet might not be a bad investment.
