Alex is a little to quickly to opt for violence and cruelty, so Ayumu would rather avoid that;
While Ayumu doesn't get very confortable around "high effort people", the main reason he wouldn't get along with Emily is because she would hate him.
On the other hand, Ayumu would have a higher regard towards Silas in virtue of having had an little quest together, and would "secretely" hope that he allows himself to give the old dream a chance (Ayumu isn't too good at bothering with people, but he's good at undertanding them, so at some point he would notice this lingering feeling in Silas' heart, then would give a passing encouragement, and proceed to never mention it again unless prompted).
Other notable mentions are:
Orchis, as mentioned before, since Ayumu would find teasing him pretty amusing;
Ayumu would be one of the few people that would listen to Alto singing, and would even give a dry complement like "that's pretty good" with a completely neutral face (tho Alto may not really appreciate it or take him seriously);
Rouka's fashion talk would go completely over his head, but if she doesn't mind a silent listener, he would at least listen.
On that note, Ayumu is one of those people that others just for some reason feel at ease to talk about their problems (I call it a "Psychologist Aura"), he wouldn't say a single word of advice and yet the others just end up helping themselves and thanking him, again, for some reason (think Willy's therapy section with the Oompa Loompa).
