The ranking system for battle spot awards points per battle, if you have a massive volume of battles your ranking is the highest. If for example, tetsuyo hideyoshi is 782 - 40 his ranking is massively higher than omar habib who has a record of 40 - 2. Despite Omar's superior win to loss ratio, he sits much lower on overall points because Tetsuyo has simply had so many more battles and gotten so many more points.
