Her interactions with Serena could lead to her becoming a recurring character like dawn or maybe koharu decides contest aren't for her and we never see Serena again. Actually I don't think anyone has brought this up but there's a slight chance the op changes to add Serena. They went out of their way to hide her for this long so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.
