Important to note that it's important for a design to make varied use of its materials. In this one, there are five materials: the yellow/brown stone, the folded? green skin, the white claws, the beige underbelly, and finally the yellow joint. The joint reuses a colour dedicated to a very different material, which confuses the qualities of both material. Grotle for example avoids this problem by merging the joint with the lower jaw, so wherever yellow is used it seems to have the same properties -- hard, metallic even. Drednaw doesn't do this because I think it is going for a bit of a toy look, and needs to be different from grotle and torterra; also, were the jaw stone as in this edit, the lower beige materials would only have been used once. The current jaw is the culmination of that feature. I suppose you could therefore make the underbelly out of brown or yellow stone, which would reduce the colours nicely as well. Overall it doesn't matter; the most charactered design wins and that's Drednaw og
