The only opinion that legitimately makes me mad is when people say that Battle Facilities are nothing but RNG bullshit. Whenever a new game comes out and we have those Battle Facility generals where people help each others get bigger streaks it always goes like this:
>Anon makes a garbage team or doesn't know how to use a good team
>Anon loses
>Anon whines in the thread about the AI cheating and RNG being against him
And this type of shit happens A LOT. I've seen literally like hundreds of people on /vp/ claim that [Battle Facility] cheats or counter picks teams or something like that. No shit you're going to get swept by a mono-Ice team if you're running a team of M-Salamence, Tapu Bulu and Hippowdon. Having good Pokemon in your team simply isn't enough. You also need good synergy, and most importantly, you need experience so that you know what to expect from specific opponents and how to deal with bad match-ups. If you're not willing to invest your time and experiment with different strategies, you're never going to git gud. The best players on Smogon are able to get 1000+ win streaks in Battle Facilities so are they just magically immune to RNG? Of course not. They're good team builders and they've prepared themselves for tough situations so that things don't go to shit immediately when they lose their lead turn 1 due to bad RNG.
You're going to get haxed eventually if you keep playing for a long time but that's just how probability works. Calling it cheating simply means that you're hiding behind excuses because you don't want to put in the time and effort so that you could actually learn how to become a better player. So far there has been zero (0) proof that Battle Facilities cheat but people still keep doing it.
>inb4 someone links a video of Walrein landing three Sheer Colds in a row as if it was somehow impossible
Sorry for the long rant but as a player who enjoys Battle Facilities a lot this type of attitude legitimately pisses me off.
