I think its because they're underrepresented even in their own games, but then in the TV shows and merchandise too. Plus it doesn't help that they aren't even catachable until so late...I've never used one on an in-game team because of that.
Maybe I'll make a point of breeding a Pawniard and using one as my Starter in my next playthrough of BW or BW2 now. Thanks /vp/
