I'm fairly certain the people goading you in MPM threads even cared about shipping. And certainly a lot less than they enjoyed riling you up and trying to start fights.
I honestly don't get why you're all constantly fighting anyway. If you're all under attack all the time, maybe try ignoring the trolls instead of feeding them e-drama? Being defensive all the time, all this petty tit for tat and waving cheap popularity polls around. It doesn't seem to be making the situation any better.
