Yeah I get that they want to ensure you caught them in that specific game, but there has to be ways around that. Like if SV's in-game Pokédex had a flag whether a given entry was completed with a mon with the Paldea origin mark, and then could pass on that data to Home. Instead of asking everyone to breed their starters because Home needs to see a Floragato you evolved back at release.
