>>36507540Tbh, the problem is, that limited edition console is almost explicitly designed to sneak LGPE into the hands of people that are Pokemon fans but don't care about LGPE.
Think about it. It's a limited-edition Pokemon-themed console, featuring controllers with alternate colors not found on the vanilla Switch, a fancy Pikachu and Eevee-themed dock, and a Pikachu-and-Eevee themed skin on the Switch itself.
Tbh, if it weren't for the fact that you're also paying for LGPE itself and the Pokeball Plus, I'd be completely on-board with it. It's just a Switch themed after two pretty-popular Pokemon.
As it stands though... when I buy a Switch, I'm still going to be buying either a second-hand one or some sort of budget option, which is what I did with the 3DS (I went with the original wedge-shaped 2DS.)
