Nice, I have got Olivia(pretty sure she's a physical attacker) who I've heard is really good but I used up all my level cap unlock items on Red. Should I switch her for Oak when I'm able to max out her level?

Depends on the mode you're playing mostly. This isn't the kinda game where you can commit to one team if that's what you're thinking. You'll have to eventually level up most of your characters for different situations. Beside that, Olivia and Red are so good that they CAN be used as your main damage dealers in a lot of situations. Right now Oak is really good for completely the Battle Villa, so level him up too

For just Lyra, disregarding every other asshole with her.

Use Koga + tank + healer. The tank takes the aggro and buffs your Koga, ideally it might even recover the gauge, while the healer heals the damn tank and keep it in the game as long as possible. Hopefully the healer too gets the aggro after your tank dies.
Koga uses Poison Jab or whatever it was to badly poison Lyra then use Venoshock because it's more powerful when poison is in effect. Spam it until she dies from being badly poisoned because god knows Koga takes forever. If Lyra isn't poisoned in the first fucking turn reset the battle and do it again.

Click the gear at the top left side of the screen and click the big red button to quit the battle.

Yes, none of the damage you or your opponent has done on each other is registered until the battle is over, this allows players to reset if the battle goes awry.

Progress is going smoothly. Got the normals, uv, vertex colors, and weights all loading correctly now regardless of LMD type. No version selecting either. Now to rework the material and bone position coding. If this works right, i should be able to make the script auto detect the material's main color texture and hopefully apply it to the mesh. Just a matter of seeing what all changed in the 2.8 material code.

there's a point where it's just not worth it because of how long it'll take. From what I've seen, people typically farm 100+ orbs a day, some up to 200+ which is probably doable when you don't need to be on your phone that much or doing it overnight. There's no direct way of checking the progress, but you can take note of how many battles it takes between orb chances, and your next orb will be around that many battles+1 (could be less or more because of how the probabilities are set up)

Get him crit support (say Phoebe or Mchic) and he'll swipe 18 quickly, maybe even before sync. The only bug weak on 19 is Liza, who is on line 2, so for this one's Red is probably better to wipe on one go. On hall 20 he's great in wiping out the first line (bug weak spdef boosted), and let him chip the next line until he dies (since you probably won't need him in the next stages)

just abuse the fact that you can reset. depending on the stage you might need to rotate out the other two, but red is really strong enough to plow though most of the villa on his own. oak is insanely bulky and can heal himself/evade constantly, and potion refreshes offer the best healing you can have

Roxie is decent, but she's complete dead weight against everything else since applying poison is unreliable and most of the time the enemy has some passive to reduce its effect. You are better off using Red and crit spam them to death.

Giovanni can 1hit all the side goons with crit iirc, and can kill Metagross and Machamp with Sync and a few Psychic/Shadow Ball. I got through with Giovanni, 4*Oak, 4*MCchu. I retried until I got 2 MCchu Potion refreshes and like 4 Oak miss-hax.

i used koga, roxie and noland and they all performed quite well and did exactly what I wanted them to. one reason I gave up on sync grinding is that I think it's a bit more fun to strategize and use different pairs

i paired both roxie and noland with samurott. +6 in 2 turns is very good although obviously it only works once. might be better just to use a better physical striker over roxie though, i tried koga/hilbert/steven and that also worked pretty well
