Courtney behaves in a more detached way to others that aren't Maxie (or the player to some degree) and snapping in the Delta Episode didn't help on the reputation neither.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that on the surface Courtney looks more like a creepy stalker, while Matt is more like a more emotional guy and people may be subconciously giving him a free pass because of that happy behavior even if on deeper analysis it makes it be even creepier than Courtney's.
