I remember when I was hopeful in 6th gen. Early 6th gen times were great. GO was extremely popular. Twitch Plays Pokemon added even more hype for the brand. SM were announced, people got hyped. But then everything started going downhill. SM despite being enjoyable felt disappointing times. Spin-offs died out. GameFreak chose Jew way with USM and LGPE.
Feels like creative juice run out in 5th gen.
