Its Mega Stone Arceusite is the first Mega Stone that can be combined with other items, in this case the Plates. For example, when you combine Arceusite with Spooky Plate, you get Arceusite-Ghost, which turns Judgment into a Ghost-type move. Combining Arceusite with Meadow Plate results in Arceusite-Grass and Grass-type Judgment, and so on. Using just Arceusite with no Plate keeps Judgment as Normal-type move. This way Arceus would still use its Plates as a Mega and Judgment would work with Protean.
