>>38341387>>38341387Nintendo stepped up its marketing game and baited everyone into thinking the Switch was a must-have revolutionary concept when in reality it's a glorified Wii U minus everything that made the Wii, Wii U, and hell the 3DS good (Mii plaza, messaging, apps that keeps logs of play time, etc). It's a buffer for all of the profits the company missed out on in the 4-5 year slump prior to its release and is meant to min-max dividends by rereleasing older games at full markup prices while putting in the least amount of effort doing so. Even BotW, the most critically acclaimed "Switch" game, was originally developed for the Wii U in mind. With this in mind, Switch owners are receiving the short end of the stick because they paid $300+ to beta test a tech demo meant to bridge the fiscal gaps in the Wii U era while financing Nintendo's next iteration which might actually amount to something- but who are we kidding, they're just going to trickle down Switch Lites with subtle changes and slight technological improvements for the next decade since it's successful
