How worth it is keeping shadow pokemon as is? It costs 1.2x the candy and dust to power them up, and for things like tyranitar, the birds, and mewtwo, I just don't see how that's feasible. There isn't enough stardust to power regular pokemon up as it is, I can't bring myself to power up any of my shadows because it's just such a huge investment before any payoff

Most people in this thread will mock you for this because the general consensus is that shadows are god tier and nothing else matters but I agree on a fundamental level here. Shadow pokemon are a huge resource investment and personally I'd rather level a cost effective alternative (luckies) and get more for my dust.

That said I'd still keep your legends shadowed simply because you'll likely never see one again but actually investing in them is entirely up to you. Dont take everything people say here seriously.

Not that anon but I don't think it's controversial among non-autistics that shadows are just glorified trophies.

If you're at the point where you can level 6 shadow magnezone, electivire, raikou etc to lv30 for a kyogre raid or some shit I don't think you're short on kyogres to begin with. There's no challenge whatsoever in a collecting game where you'll need the 20% multiplier to shave off 2.5 seconds off a 5 star raid.

People found out that attack is weighted much higher when calculating total CP so the "optimal" pvp ivs are something in the ballpark of 0/15/15 so you get as much bulk as possible while staying under the threshold for that bracket (assuming you're not playing master league).

You could want much less attack to have more bulk overall.
tl;dr:
>attack "costs more CP" than DEF and HP
>attack often doesn't actually increase the damage your moves do unless you hit a 'breakpoint' which is somewhat uncommon
>accordingly, you want very low attack so your pokemon will have more positive matchups by virtue of surviving attacks that would otherwise finish it, allowing you to throw more charge moves to flip matches

It makes a lot of sense outside of the atk CP weight being higher and having to understand CMP ties.
Other than that it's just counting turns and fast moves and memorizing charge moves.

They've since apparently "Fixed" the issue so it's no longer on the page and it seems that it's not on the wayback machine, but there for over a month was a known issue detailing how Mr Mine caused game instability in many devices.

Evidence of this is still saved in Google's crawler on the page description. I'm sure there's some way to access the old saved page but I'm too busy.

Make sure to set the level limit to 51 and select the correct league.
Don't take this as gospel however, because sometimes the best stat product with 0 attack misses an attack breakpoint, and if your pokemon has 3 attack and everyone else's is 0-2 attack you win the matchup due to winning CMP ties.
This is a good reference to know if something is worth evolving and then investing, however. Or to know if something is worth saving for "whenever the fuck I manage to get 256 XL candies".

A grass and dark type over level 30 can easily sweep Cliff and Sierra (Cliff will sometimes have Electivire but you can usually muscle past it too). The only wild card is Arlo because of the Salamence ruining what could otherwise be a clean sweep with water or ground (I reccomend ground because the Steelix usually carries thunder fang) but it's easily handled with another mon.

Just keep at it and try to bait out shields on their first mon with faster charge moves so you can blow the dangerous mons away when they come out.

Use those to take his shield and kill persian.
If your pokemon faints, it depends on his middle pokemon but Ice beats 2/3 of them so mammo is good.

Maybe swap Gallade to lead, or swapping it to something more bulky. I don't play much UL, my team was S. Gallade / S. Lapras / Crustle back before XL fucked everything up, and I stole the spaghetti line of S. Snorlax / Slowbro / Kingdra for the end of UL Season 4 when he was done using it to pop rank 10.
