I genuinely don't understand what the point of so many hacks doing this is. It wastes the hacker's time for coding it, and even if the hack was good it's going to sour any possible discussion about the hack. Regardless of how you feel about the topic, it's something that has no place in a game in the first place, as it adds literally nothing but an easy thing for detractors to point to.
