May is just happy to be there, Barry is too dumb to take seriously, the xy trio are even more groupie like than the Unova duo, Hau is a baby, Hop is just slightly less of a baby, and Marnie is there to fawn over. To be fair Bede is close to that old feel of a rival you're motivated to humble, but he's barely around. I'm like half sure Nemona gets off on losing to you.
