never actually used dragon rage in a gym match before, so it was nice to get to use it before it falls off. kind of sad i didn't get a desert encounter because a geodude popped out of the boulder on 111, but whatever, and looking forward to trying out zangoose later, but right now i need to get my upcoming anorith up to protect level to beat norman safely
also it's nice to not have to rely on a pokemon quad weak to the gym lmao. i think that now that i'm over the hump that is wattson this run is going to normalize a bit. I doubt that I can top flamethrower gyarados beating wattson
