Pokemon design quality is objectively uh, subjective, but I definitely think it means something when the regional psuedo legendary, with a rare typing, broken overtuned ability, and competitive relevance is so damn unpopular. Dragapult checks all the same boxes and it's one of if not THE most popular Pokemon of the generation.
No matter how you look at it, something went wrong along the way when it came to Baxcalibur's design and it doesn't resonate with people, OP coming out the gate swinging proves this. Maybe it'll get a regional that does a different concept with the design, that's the only way I see anyone caring about Baxcalibur. Same can't be said for the prevos though,
