Bug is odd, because I'm pretty afraid of most bugs, with the exception of caterpillars, butterflies, moths, and pill-bugs. They just tend to have interesting designs and concepts behind them (Paras, Crustle, Shedinja/Ninjask, etc.) and are pretty useful.
Rock type also houses a good few of my favorite pokemon, pretty much for the same reason as Bug, plus I love defensive pokes.
