The state of the battle is restored to exactly how it was 2 turns ago, except that the user is now the / an active Pokemon, and that any items previously consumed will not be restored. Furthermore, any Pokemon with the move Temporal Reversion can never have the PP for that attack restored to a previous amount due to the effects of Temporal Reversion.
Will fail if used during the first two turns of battle. Cannot be used more than once during the same turn or at all by any Pokemon during the following turn.
