pokemon managed to scam people with sword shield and even with their eventual dlcs (for literal basic post game content) and people are happy with it, doubt masters is going to fail especially since its on mobile and potentially completely free and has an actual novelty that focuses on characters too since game freak can't provide a single drop of soul anymore
masters doesn't seem to have the same fate of pokken (mfw forgot about it) and other niche pokemon games for mobile with oc characters only
