But I'd like some kind of middle ground between what we have now and Pokken tournament. Pokemon still need to be able to learn different moves and have stats affected by levels.
IMO the best system would be something like that abandonned fangame Pokemon Generations tried to do.
But realistically, we're going to get more of the same shit in a game that's more linear than ever.
