Literally the entire point of things like Geodude and Makuhita being common as all hell is they are easily obtainable but only really stand-ins for the better attackers. There's a reason it's Geodude and not Cranidos everywhere, and it's not because Cranidos is a fossil because they had no problem hurling Anorith at us constantly for over a week.
Since it's HARD unobtainable outside of the weekly - therefore no one that Eevee is actually relevant to can evolve it since even though 25 candy isn't much, you get 6-7 a week, plus however much from walking it but it's 5km/candy and you're better off walking a Feebas if you're that new.
So once that two months has passed Eevee probably isn't even relevant to you at that point and all you have is some level 15, middling IV offcuts you don't want to do anything with, no matter how much you're supposed to care about the barely visible flower on its head.
This is why you don't hire trannies. No grasp on reality.
