People pointing out positive aspects in a game they prefer also shouldn't be simplified to "but x!", because the same can be applied to pointing out negatives. One person may love HGSS for its side content, like Kanto, the Platinum Frontier, and Pokeathlon, while another might like XY for all its online advancements. Simplifying any positive opinion as "but x!" doesn't help people provide reasons for what they both like and dislike about the games, it only forces a constant stream of negativity.
