>>54649262I'm not a furry but Delphox is one of my favorite Fire starters. I really like it's typing, its wide move pool, and the way that all fits into the witch/mage archetype that it has.
The design is also a step up from Braixen's. In my opition, bipedal pokemon that are animal based work best when their proportions would allow them to also function as quadrupeds even if it's posed bipedally. This is because I've kind of always had this headcanon that some bipedal Pokemon would actually walk on four legs if raised in the wild. Delphox has longer arms than Braixen that evens out its proportions. I could see a wild Delphox operating on all fours and being a contrast to a trainer's Delphox that generally takes a bipedal approach to movement. In fact, all of the Gen 6 starters have that feature where Chesnaut, Delphox, and Greninja could all work as quadrupeds as they are.
On all fours, Delphox would basically look like pic related but with a longer torso which works much better than Inceneroar and Intellion
