>>35173838He's actually an anthro cheetah, but his best friend (and half-brother) is a dragon with green magic. The pride aspect plays out differently in them:
>cheetah: as described. Very flamboyant, self-described "copycat" due to his mimicry of fictional characters - Portal gun spell, Binding of Isaac tarot deck, etc - and reliance on transformation/illusions and a pitch-perfect voice (can't mimic opposite sex though) to essentially cosplay or otherwise imitate many characters both in battle and just hanging out with friends
>dragon: more limited spell range, far greater power, fits "awe inspiring" very well. In contrast to the cheetah's "look how well I'm doing," he's "I will remind you: I am your better." Uses magic to enhance firebreath to engulf several times his size, open massive fissures, make a towering spike of earth shoot up, or overpower an opponent's/prey's mind and force them to submit to his whim/hungerSimilarly, dragonslayers' swords leave glowing red trails, empowered by their fury towards the particular target, while fighting a dragon, but it drives a sense of duty and justice, unlike some red mages' anger at everything, developed to help them access power on a whim.
>I would 100% read thisI'm actually writing a thing about another character being taught magic by him. He really doesn't work well as a main character, though, since the side effect of being my main OC from late elementary school into college means getting really OP during my teen years. On the bright side, he doesn't lie anymore (after a brief "haha the hero was untruthful!" stint in high school) because he finds it boring and too much needless effort to keep up.
>>35173870Sorta, yeah.
>>35170018What's Dark Triad? Also, post the tulpa thing, it sounds cool.
>>35173927If it helps, I've only self dx'd the maladaptive daydreaming thing, since I've never brought it up to any shrink.
