>>53871845>>53871862We're lucky we got Haxorus. Sugimori thought it wasn't Pokemon-like enough at first. I feel like the women designers there have the best grasp on good designs. Like, Nishida was there from the beginning as the first woman they hired and she was responsible for what would become so many iconic designs (Pikachu, Charizard, etc). Sugimori himself I'm not a fan of when it comes to designs, but I will say he knocks it out of the park when it comes to Legendaries, so would prefer if he stuck to that.
