People don't want 1:1 remakes, nobody was fucking asking for the game to look identical to DP but in 3D, people wanted to see Sinnoh completely revamped and brought into the modern era. I very vividly remember discussions about possible wild areas in Sinnoh somewhere and OW encounters, and this was because the standard for remakes set by FRLG, HGSS, ORAS and kind of LGPE meant that a remake meant a complete upgrade, not this lazy 1:1 shit.
People fucking adore HGSS, do you really think people would like it as much if they gimped the graphics so it "matched the original", removed the new features like following Pokemon and Safari Zone, and didn't bother upgrading Kanto all for the sake of "being a 1:1 remake?" No, you fucking idiot shills.
